Recent amendments brought to the Law Practitioners Act in Mauritius have made it possible to incorporate and register a company as a law firm.  C&A Law is the 3rd law firm to have been registered with the office of the Attorney General of Mauritius.  C&A Law consists of 2 barristers and a legal consultant, as well as 3 paralegal staff.  The 2 managing directors and shareholders of the firm are Goinsamy Chinien and Gilles Athaw.

Goinsamy Chinien is a legal consultant and authorized to act as such under the Law Practitioners Act.  He was qualified in the UK as a barrister and has practiced at the Bar of Mauritius for more than 15 years.  He has wide experience in the corporate, tax and immovable property sector.

Gilles Athaw is a barrister qualified from the UK and Mauritius.  He is practicing in the civil, corporate and the global business sector.

C&A Law specializes in the corporate, global business sector, tax and civil matters.  C&A Law provides court and tribunal representations in relation to tax, company related matters and civil litigation.  C&A Law also provides outsourcing of compliance services to offshore management companies in Mauritius and Seychelles.  C&A Law provides advice both in French and English.
