Colombo & Colombo Attorney Eric Bowden Presents on Auto Dealership Law
March 20, 2014 – Bloomfield Hills, MI – Eric Bowden, a Partner at the Colombo & Colombo law firm, recently provided business insight and legal expertise to students in the Automotive Marketing & Management program at Northwood University. Eric was invited by the Chair of the Automotive Marketing program at Northwood University, Professor Elgie Bright.
Eric’s presentation covered the wide range of laws impacting auto dealerships including employment and labor, government regulation, consumer protection, advertising, retail sales and dealerships’ relationships with manufacturers. He also discussed many of the federal laws that impact dealerships across the USA and gave specific examples of how situations can become serious legal issues if the appropriate policies are not in place and enforced.
