Stacey is the Events and Member Services Coordinator for LEGUS, an international network of affiliated law firms who provide quality legal services to member clients around the world and who share information regarding law firm management techniques and strategies between members to enhance client service and firm management. Stacey began her career at LEGUS in 2011 after graduating from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration focusing on Hospitality Services and Event Management. Her combined education and work experience led her to join the team at LEGUS.
One of Stacey’s main responsibilities revolves around servicing our worldwide members. She is available almost 24-7 to answer member requests and questions. Her dedicated availability to members has allowed her to build relationships with many of them over the years. She enjoys hearing from them on a regular basis and is eager to assist whenever needed.
Stacey is also responsible for planning and executing bi-annual international and domestic meetings. From site selection to contract negotiations, Stacey is the main coordinator of all LEGUS meetings. On top of coordinating, Stacey is also the on-site contact for the meeting. She is available at any time throughout the meeting to assist with registration and any other needs or questions that may arise. Other duties include producing a quarterly newsletter, responding to member requests, manage a monthly webinar series, assist in recruitment efforts of new members and aide the President with daily management of the organization.
Prior to joining LEGUS, Stacey held two positions with leading northern Michigan resorts where she was an Event Coordinator for their summer seasons. From 2006-2011, Stacey held multiple positions at a mid-size law firm in Michigan.
From 2009-2011, Stacey was a member of the Central Michigan University Chapter of the Hospitality and Tourism Society. She is a current member of Meeting Professionals International as well as the Law Practice Management Division and the Tort, Trial and Insurance practice sections of the American Bar Association.
